Media Shopping Trip July 29-August 2, 2009 : ERAWAN MUSEUM

The Erawan Museum also known as the Elephant Museum contained the world' largest three-head elephant statue. The Erawan Museum owned by the same company as the Ancient City.The tour started from the base of the pedestal which is a kind of museum of antiquities. Then go up inside right up to the belly of the elephant. It houses the late Khun Lek's (owner) priceless collection of ancient religious objects. Tours of the museum start in the lower level of the pedestal, which houses the oldest artifacts.

The huge bronze sculpture stands on the base pedestal decorated with millions of tiny tiles enameled in the fashion of Thai Benjarong ceramics.

Media Shopping Trip : July 29-August 2,2009 : ANCIENT CITY, SAMUT PRAKARN

My Malaysian Media visited the Ancient City, Samut Prakarn located about 30 mins from Bangkok. This unique city, is an excellent reflection of Thailand's multi-faceted ancient culture presented in an authentic and visually exciting setting.Tour around this city by mini tram, it took us hours to visit the some of 116 tourists spots of interest in Thailand.

Media Shopping Trip July 29-August 2, 2009 : DINNER CRUISE ALONG CHAO PHRAYA RIVER

After a brief tour around the River City Shopping & Antique Centre, we enjoyed the magnificent view along the Chao Phraya River and okay international buffet dinner onboard of Grand Pearl Cruise.

We were treated to a fine dining at the Roof Top Restaurat,Siam@Siam Hotel. However, as the weather not permitted, we can only enjoy the view & click, click only...Mrs Porntip, the Executive Director of Tourism Authority of Thailand given a welcoming speech.

Media Shopping Trip July 29-Aug 2,2009 : THE HOTEL

The hotel that we stayed : Siam@Siam Design Hotel & Spa. Located in the heart of Bangkok. A short walk from BTS National Stadium Station, offered the magnificent view at the Roof Top Restaurant. This four star hotel easily access by any kind of transport such as taxi, BTS or even Tuk-Tuk.
